LED SPOTLIGHTS (downlights)

Led spots are dimmable and suitable for high quality general lighting from private homes to public spaces. The luminaires are low profile, e.g. the popular Led TIGHT KANTTI 9W spotlight is only 45mm high! Our latest spots have a colour rendering index (CRI) of 98 and light comes from a single point. A high colour rendering index is important. The more perfectly a luminaire produces the colours of the entire colour spectrum, the better the environment will look. Our 9W LED spots are equivalent to around 50W halogen and the 15W LED spot is at least 75W. Most of our spotlights can be flush-mounted in the most common ceiling structures with 48x48mm framing and 13mm plasterboard.

Our recessed Led Round and Led Edge 9W and 15W LED spotlights have a cast aluminium body and frame and the high quality LED circuit is mounted on a highly thermally conductive module, which is interchangeable in most of our spotlight models. The high quality LED module achieves maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature.

Our frameless flush-mount spots KOLO with pull-out and directional and PIILO with square flush-mount, as well as our deep-emitting EYE are a good choice when the light source needs to be hidden. With a wattage of 12W and 24W, there is plenty of light output in these high quality luminaires. A recess depth of around 100 mm is required.

The spotlights are available with a very slim LINJA spotlight. It has 2 W light sources embedded in the black interior of the luminaire, and illuminates with a narrow 15° opening angle. The options for the line spot are two spot Led Line 2, five spot Led Line 5 and ten spot Led Line 10.

LED SPOTS - a good choice for many applications

The low mounting height of the square and round LED spots allows for versatile use of the luminaires. Led spotlights are well suited for flush mounting in 50-60 mm installation spaces. In shallow basements, for example, the LED spotlights can be installed in a separate mounting box built or to be built for ventilation pipes, so that no space needs to be calculated. With an opening angle of 45 degrees, the LED spotlight provides good general lighting for all areas of the home, such as kitchens, corridors, hallways, living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, wardrobes and toilets. For higher spaces, it is advisable to choose higher power 15W spots, or double spots (2x9W or even 2x15W) and use additional indirect lighting where necessary. High quality LED spot lighting has a positive impact on comfort and visibility.

The rectangular spotlight is ideal for those looking for a modern design style and for panelled ceilings. A round spotlight is ideal for those looking for a softer style and for calm, atmospheric spaces.

LedStore's own production

The rectangular and round LED spotlights with power supply are produced in-house by LedStore and manufactured by our contract manufacturers directly for our use. With more than ten size and wattage options available, changing the number and size of the luminaires can provide the right lighting for any space. Larger batches are made to order according to the customer's requirements.

Led spotlights always have a choice of several shades of white light. The white light colour, expressed in Kelvin, determines whether the luminaire produces warm, neutral or cool light. Spots always have a choice of warm 3000K or neutral 4000K. In addition, there are Kelvin-controlled spots, which we call CCT. They allow either a stepless selection of the light hue at installation or during use by selecting the appropriate controls.

For added versatility, LedStore's LED spotlights are moisture-proof (IP44 and IP54) and available in dimmable versions. Thanks to the spot's tightness and moisture protection, they can also be installed in bathrooms, canopies and terraces without any worries, as long as the power supply is protected from rain.

Led spotlight light colours - warm white, neutral white, cool white and adjustable

All our LED spotlights are dimmable and provide white light. The light colour temperature can be selected from warm white 3000K, neutral white 4000K or, in some models, a self-adjustable light colour temperature, allowing infinitely variable colour temperature adjustment from 2500K to 6500K or a choice of three colour temperature options at the installation stage: warm 2700K, neutral 4000K, cold 5300K. The feature is called CCT, which means that the luminaire is colour temperature adjustable.

Structure of Led spots

Square and round LED spotlights have an aluminium body in all models, so they are durable and sturdy and conduct heat away from the LED circuit. The frames of the LED spotlights are painted white or black, or brushed matt. Some spots (models Round and Kantti R023, R033) have a stylish, clear inner frame.

The LED circuit in the spotlights is attached to a thermally conductive LED module, which can be replaced in most models if necessary. In the modular ModLed spot, the module and frame are sold separately and the transformer is built into the module. Light is reflected through an opal acrylic diffuser into the room in most spot models. In Led Round 023 the diffuser is glass. Mod Led dry room luminaires do not have a separate light softening lens. In the models Led Round Directional 033 and Led Kantti 033, the directional diffuser can also be removed if more light output is desired, so there are options.

The Led spotlights are also suitable for damp locations with IP44 and wet locations with IP54 ratings, meaning the electrical parts of the light source are protected against splashing water (IP44) and spraying water (IP54). When installed in a canopy, the transformer is in a false ceiling in a dry area, so the IP21 rating is sufficient for the power supply. Outdoors, the LED spots also work well, as the operating temperature can be as low as -30 degrees Celsius.

In addition to the material, the quality is essentially due to the high-quality LED circuits with their excellent colour rendering index. The colour rendering index determines how well the luminaire displays the colours of the environment as they should be. Technical characteristics

Led circuit features

In most of our LED spotlights, the LED circuit is mounted on an aluminium module that is screwed into the aluminium body of the luminaire. With no plastic parts in the body of the spot, nor in the frame except for the lens, maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature is achieved. In addition, the power supply is separate from the body, thus avoiding an additional, life-shortening thermal load on the LED luminaire itself.

Power supplies for LED spotlights

Each individual luminaire is supplied with its own dimmable LED power supply, with the exception of ModLed spots. The power supply is attached to the spot using a quick connector. Installation can be done safely against wood or plaster. The standard TRIAC dimmable, chainable power supply fits through the mounting hole into the mounting space on all models. The square KANTTI spotlights also have a circular mounting hole. Power supplies as electronic components are more likely to fail than the LED light source itself. This is why all our LED spotlights have replaceable power supplies.

Dimming of led spots

All our LED spotlights are dimmable with TRIAC dimmers from the primary side. You can order the suitable dimmers from us! Information - In the Installation section of our website, the dimmers tested with each product are tabulated to help you choose. Wireless dimming is also possible by ordering a wireless 230V receiver and wireless push button. These can be found in the WIRELESS CONTROL product group.

The LED spotlights have a calculated lifetime of approximately 50 000 hours, which corresponds to approximately 14 years when the luminaire is used 10 hours a day, every day of the year. The spots are guaranteed for 5 or 7 years for light sources and 3 years for power supplies.

Operating voltage and power supply types for different automation systems

LedStore's round and square LED spots are most commonly supplied with 24V. 36V spots are also available, so they can be used without a transformer even in low current systems. With the power supply/transformer, installation is done with mains power. By changing the power supply, the LED spots are also suitable for programmable DALI systems, and various home automation systems. By changing the power supply, pairs of controllers can also be created to suit wireless RF, Wifi or Mesh networking systems such as Zigbee. Led spotlights in ready-to-install kits with colour temperature control buttons
