LED panel is a multifunctional luminaire

The ultra-slim design of the rectangular and circular LED panels allows for versatile use of the luminaires. With a thickness of only 13 mm (23 mm at the spring fixing point), LED panel luminaires can be easily flush-mounted in very shallow installation spaces. The thinness of the Led panels is useful in low-ceilinged basements and bathrooms, for example, where the height of the room should not be lowered unnecessarily. For example, Led panels provide good light in rooms where there is little natural light. The largest rectangular LED panels provide skylight-like light, and are therefore well suited to ceilings in upper rooms, lobbies, hallways or high corridors.

The rectangular panel is well suited for those looking for a modern design style, paneled ceilings and suspended / T-bar ceilings. The round panel is suitable for those looking for a softer style and for calm, atmospheric spaces. These include living rooms and bedrooms. The round LED panel has a smooth, non-yellowing surface, making it ideal as a replacement for traditional convex ceiling luminaires in bathrooms and utility rooms.

LedStore's own production

Led panels with power supplies are produced in-house by LedStore and manufactured by our contract manufacturers directly for our use. With more than ten size options, including the popular 600x600 led panel and 300x300 led panel, we can vary the number and size of luminaires to provide the right lighting for any space. Our smaller round panels are well suited to replace spotlights, for example, and their small size makes them ideal for bathrooms where placement is affected by factors such as possible rain showers.
Larger batches are made to order according to the customer's dimensions and required features.

The versatility of Led Panel use is further enhanced by the fact that LedStore's Led Panel luminaires are moisture-proof (IP44 and IP54) and available in dimmable versions. Due to the tightness and moisture protection of the panel, they can also be safely installed on canopies and terraces. Led panels are also used in warehouses, garages, work and leisure areas due to their high luminous efficacy and light quality. The power supply is detached from the panel and can be placed next to the panel, so the size of the power supply does not increase the thickness of the panel. The standard power supply is dimmable and the power supply is IP21 rated, meaning it is intended for dry areas, not exposed to water splashes. Other types of power supply can also be selected for the panels, depending on the desired control characteristics. Ceiling or skylight effect with LED panel

A led panel is a highly efficient ceiling light, for example a four-panel LED panel 600x600 produces 3,000 lumens of light to create a light ceiling effect in the hallway, corridor, utility room, kitchen etc. of your home. The LED panels are also ideal as task and general lighting. The 600x600 LED panel is also perfect for office flat roofs. The larger 600x1200 led panel illuminates twice as much and allows you to work even in a windowless room. When installing led panels, it is important to draw the lines of the mounting holes with a laser so that the panels are positioned straight.

Surface mounting

Some of LedStore's led panel luminaires can be surface mounted on the ceiling or wall by ordering a separate surface mounting frame. The frame is made of white painted aluminium. Surface mounting frames are available in square LED panel sizes 300x300, 600x600, 300x1200 and 600x1200. For round LED panels, the frame is available for panel 240. The frame is 50 mm high, so the panel transformer fits well inside the frame. The frame does not come with a through-hole, but it can be drilled into the aluminium material itself if the luminaires are to be daisy-chained. When mounted in the frame, the panel is best suited for ceiling mounting, we do not recommend wall mounting.

Led panel light colours - warm white, neutral white, cool white and sliding colour temperature control

All our LED panel lights are dimmable and provide white light. With our CCT adjustable panels, you can choose between warm white 3000K, neutral white 4000K or cool white 5500K. In almost all LED panels, the colour temperature can be selected from three colour temperature options with a standard power supply at the installation stage, or separately with a transformer to suit the control mode, infinitely variable between approximately 2500K and 6500K. An RGB LED panel, i.e. a colour changing panel, is not included.

The construction of the led panels is of high quality

The body and frame of the square and round LED panels are made of aluminium in all models, making them durable and sturdy even in larger panel luminaires. The base of the luminaire has a solid aluminium plate, which reinforces the luminaire but does not add unnecessary weight. The aluminium conducts heat away from the LED circuitry. The frames of the Led panel luminaires are always painted white, so they blend in elegantly and gracefully with the ceiling.

The LED circuits in panel luminaires are fixed, and rotate around the edges of the panel, evenly illuminating the entire surface of the panel, from which the light is reflected through an opal acrylic diffuser into the room. The surface luminance varies according to the size of the panel, being lowest for square panel models 300, 600 and 1200. Their glare (UGR) is therefore negligible. Luminaires with a lower surface luminance have a high luminous intensity, but it is distributed over a relatively larger area than luminaires with a higher surface luminance.

In addition to the material, the quality is essentially due to the high quality of the LED circuits, which have an excellent colour rendering index. The colour rendering index determines how well the luminaire displays the colours of the environment as they should be. For LED panels (square and round), the colour rendering index, CRI, is always above 90, up to 98 (+/- 2 units).

Technical characteristics of led panels in our own range of products

In our light panels, the LED circuit is directly fixed to the metal body of the luminaire, thus achieving maximum thermal conductivity and safe operating temperature. In addition, the power supply is separate from the body, thus avoiding an additional, life-shortening thermal load on the LED luminaire itself. Installation can be done safely against wood or plaster. A dimmable power supply is supplied as standard and can be accommodated in the mounting space through the mounting hole on all models. In the case of surface-mounted ceiling luminaires, the power supply is located inside the body.

Led panels have a calculated lifetime of approximately 50 000 hours, which corresponds to approximately 14 years when the luminaire is used 10 hours a day, every day of the year. Power supplies as electronic components are more likely to fail than the LED light source itself. This is why the power supplies in LED panels are always replaceable. The warranty periods for the panels are 5 years for the light sources and 3 years for the power supplies.

LedStore's circular and rectangular LED panels have an operating voltage of 24V, so they are also suitable for low current systems. With the power supply, installation is done with mains power. By changing the power supply, the LED panels can also be adapted to programmable DALI systems and various home automation systems, as well as wireless Wifi or Mesh networking systems such as Zigbee.

Dimmable led panel
