The service is suitable for replacing an old luminaire or installing a completely new one. And you don't even have to have bought it from us.

For what kind of installations is this suitable?

For PINTA installation of ceiling and wall luminaires.

A few conditions for the price of the installation.

• The surface-mounted luminaire must be mountable on top of a junction box.
• Connection to the ceiling/wall surface with a sugar stick or plug
• Installation height max 3,0 m. Additional charge for stands 124€ (max 5m)
• Please ensure that you have any loose bulbs for the luminaire
• The luminaire is installed according to the instructions of the product manufacturer.
• The luminaire must be capable of being installed by a single installer
• Installation time for one luminaire 15 min.
  

How does the installation proceed after ordering?

1. Order the installation service on our website.
2. Contact us within 1-2 working days after ordering. At this point it is very important to indicate the height of the installation site for possible racks (extra charge!)
3. The installation will be carried out within one week of the arrival of the product to be installed, taking into account the requirements of the site.
4. Any additional work will be agreed and charged separately.

NOTE! Delivery of products from the online shop directly to the customer before installation. The installer does not bring the product with him.

What happens at the installation site?

The installation on site proceeds as follows.

1. Assembling the new luminaire (to see if the parts are in place)
2. The electricity is cut off at the installation site
3. Removing the old luminaire from the ceiling or wall
4. Fixing the luminaire to the ceiling/wall surface or to a jewel case, following the manufacturer's instructions
   
5. Required electrical safety tests
   
6. Testing the functioning of the luminaire
7. Cleaning up the installation site and disposal of packaging waste

What is NOT included in the installation?

• Making openings for recessed luminaires(installation of recessed luminaires)
• Clearing the installation site to make it accessible
• Protecting the installation environment
• Modification of the luminaire if required
• Any necessary electrical fittings (e.g. blanking covers). To be charged separately.
• Other electrical work, this can be agreed at the time of installation and will be charged separately.
• Construction and patching work that may be required when removing an old luminaire.

Obligations and responsibilities of the client

• It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the product is suitable for installation on site, in accordance with the contents of the basic service.
• Check that the product ordered is correct and does not contain any transport damage!

If the installer finds at the site that the product is unsuitable for installation (e.g. broken, wrong product, cannot be installed without carpentry work, etc.), the customer will be charged for the full amount of the installer's lost working time and travel expenses.

Obstacles to installation may include, but are not limited to:

• Installation at a height of more than 3 metres, and no prior agreement on scaffolding
• The luminaire cannot be installed due to excessive furniture (ladder/frames cannot be fitted).
• The product cannot be fixed to an existing wall or ceiling structure (too heavy for a porous ceiling or requires cutting of the stone wall).
  

Performance testing

The installation service includes functionality testing including dimming and colour temperature change. After testing, the whole system is ready for use.
