Are LED ceilings and LED panels adjustable/dimmable? ❯
Yes, they are. Led ceilings and led panels are controlled by RC TRIAC dimmers, i.e. traditional wall-mounted, rotating knobs. Models with DALI control, Zigbee and other wireless solutions are also available on request.
Here is a list of the traditional dimmers tested: https://ledstore.fi/himmennys
Does the dimmer come with the luminaire? ❯
Not applicable, except for the Crane table lamp (built-in). There are dimmers to suit a wide range of needs and decor, so it's worth making your choice separately. The price range is between 70-200€ per dimmer in one group.

Are the bulbs in LED ceilings and LED panels replaceable? ❯
None. The products have a solid LED strip glued to an aluminium frame for maximum cooling. The products are so-called standard sizes so they will continue to be available.
What are the brands of led plafonds and led panels sold at LedStore? ❯
LedStore brands. We have our own product design and contract manufacturer who has been working with us for 10 years.
What if I buy a led plafond or led panel now and it breaks in 8 years, what will replace it? ❯
No worries. Because we have our own manufacturing, you can also get spare parts to replace them later. The products are also standard sizes, so they will continue to be available.
Does the luminaire come with a power supply/ ballast/ transformer? ❯
Yes, it is. Each led plafond, led panel and le spot comes standard with its own dimmable ballast, unless otherwise requested (wireless solutions, house automation, etc).
Does a led plafond or led panel require a service hatch? ❯
Not necessary, as each plafond and panel has its own transformer that fits in and out of the luminaire mounting hole.
How much depth do led ceilings and led panels require? ❯
The luminaire requires a space of about 45mm from the finished surface, depending on the model. The led panel itself
is only 12mm thick, but the luminaire can be up to 25mm thick at the spring. Ballast
is 25-35mm thick, depending on the model. This means that plasterboard roofs are not
even on large panels (600x1200mm!). Mechanical
however, due to mechanical stress and common sense, the panel should not be installed directly
against the vapour barrier. A small 10mm space is not bad for ventilation either.
In practice, this means e.g. 48x48 studding + 13mm plaster is sufficient height
Are the products fire-safe, i.e. do they require fire protection? ❯
The products are flame retardant and do not require flame retardant protection, such as halogens. Power supplies are made of low flammability plastic and are short-circuit proof. Led panels and led plafonds themselves are low current functional.
Are LED ceilings and LED panels chainable? ❯
Yes, they are. The standard ballast supplied with each luminaire is chainable.
Can a 300x300 or 600x600 panel be used as a service hatch? ❯
Yes, you can. However, I would recommend reinforcing the edge of the plasterboard if it is opened frequently to avoid cracking the plaster in use.
Can led ceilings and led panels also be installed in the yard, e.g. in a carport? ❯
Yes, you can. Led plafonds and led panels are IP44 and the ballast is IP21, so you can install the ballast inside a pitched ceiling even outside.
What is the lifetime of LED ceilings and LED panels? ❯
With an aluminium body, our luminaires have a long lifetime of +50.000 hours. In practice, if a part of the luminaire fails, it is more likely to be the luminaire ballast. This is also easy to replace, as it is usually attached to the luminaire with a quick connector. We offer a 3-5 year warranty on panels and plafonds, depending on the product!
